Ingredients
- 120 g butter or vegan spread
- 90 g sugar
- 40 g blackstrap molasses or black treacle
- 225 g rolled/ old-fashioned oats
Instructions
- Heat the Instant Pot on SAUTÉ. Add the butter or spread, sugar and molasses and stir for about 2 minutes until completely melted. Stir in the oats then press CANCEL.
- Push the oat mixture into the prepared baking pan using the back of a spoon.
- Place 500 ml/2 cups water in the Instant Pot, set the trivet on top then lower the filled baking pan on top. Set to 20 minutes at PRESSURE. NPR at the end of cooking.
- Leave to cool completely before carefully removing and slicing into portions to serve.
