Always use the Pressure Cooking lid that is provided with your Instant Pot when using a wet cooking function. When the lid is closed, the sealing ring creates an airtight seal between the lid and the inner pot. Watch the video to learn about your pressure cooking lid.
1.3 The Air Fryer Lid and cover
When using a dry cooking function, use the Air Fryer lid provided. The protective cover can be used to protect the heating element.

To release pressure, Move the quick release switch from Seal to Vent and wait until the float valve drops into the lid.
Watch the video to find out about the different pressure release methods.
2.1 Clean before use
Wipe the heating element inside the cooker base and the inside of the lid to remove any stray packaging particles.
2.2 Locate the condensation collector
The condensation collector sits at the back of the cooker base and accumulates overflow moisture. It should be installed before cooking, then emptied and rinsed out after each use.
To remove, pull the condensation collector away from the cooker base; do not pull down.
To install, align the grooves on the condensation collector with the tabs on the back of the cooker base and slide the condensation collector into place.

Before using your new Instant Pot Pro Crisp for the first time, you must perform a pressure-cooking test run to ensure everything is working correctly.

Cleaning
Clean your Instant Pot after each use. Always unplug the unit and let all parts cool to room temperature before cleaning. Before use or storing, make sure all surfaces are dry.
The air fryer lid, multi cooker base and power lead should be wipe cleaned only.
For the steam rack, pressure cooking lid and lid parts, place on the top rack of the dishwasher only.
Remove all parts of the lid before cleaning.
Note: Check the condensation collector after each use and empty and clean it as needed. Do not allow food or moisture to sit in the condensation collector, as harmful bacteria may result.
Note: Some discolouration may occur after machine washing, but this will not affect the multicooker’s safety or performance.
