Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts, cut into 12 bite sized pieces
- 12 slices streaky bacon
- 80g BBQ sauce of choice
- 1 tsp honey
- Salt
Instructions
- Season the cut chicken with salt, then wrap a slice of bacon around each piece.
- Thread three pieces of bacon wrapped chicken cylinders onto a skewer – so you have 4 skewers.
- Combine the barbecue sauce and honey in a bowl and microwave in 30 second bursts, until the sauce is bubbling.
- Brush each of the 4 skewers with the barbecua glaze mixture, making sure to coat them evenly on all sides.
- Grill the skewers at 205°C for 10minutes.
- Turn the skewers halfway through, brushing with extra glaze when you turn.
- Once the chicken is cooked, serve immediately as a delicious starter or as part of a main course.
