BBQ Chicken and Bacon Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, cut into 12 bite sized pieces
  • 12 slices streaky bacon
  • 80g BBQ sauce of choice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Season the cut chicken with salt, then wrap a slice of bacon around each piece.
  2. Thread three pieces of bacon wrapped chicken cylinders onto a skewer – so you have 4 skewers.
  3. Combine the barbecue sauce and honey in a bowl and microwave in 30 second bursts, until the sauce is bubbling.
  4. Brush each of the 4 skewers with the barbecua glaze mixture, making sure to coat them evenly on all sides.
  5. Grill the skewers at 205°C for 10minutes.
  6. Turn the skewers halfway through, brushing with extra glaze when you turn.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, serve immediately as a delicious starter or as part of a main course.
